The Reds outrighted Diehl to Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Diehl remains in the organization after he went unclaimed through waivers when the Reds designated him for assignment over the weekend. His lack of a 40-man roster spot will likely hurt the reliever's chances of surfacing with the big club at any point in the near future.
