Romano (5-6) allowed no runs on five hits while striking out six across eight innings to earn the victory Saturday against the Pirates.

Romano was locked up in a scoreless tie until the Pirates came up with a pair of runs in the seventh inning to help him earn his fifth victory of the campaign. He's held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in five of his last six starts to lower his ERA by more than a full run during that span and has become a nice fantasy option. He'll make his next start Friday against the Red Sox.
