Breaux was placed on the 7-day minor-league injured list for an unspecified reason Saturday, Matt Kardos of MLB.com reports.
Breaux has appeared in 15 games at Double-A Somerset this year, hitting .188 with five homers, 10 RBI and eight runs. The nature of his injury isn't yet known, and a timetable for his return hasn't been revealed.
