The Hornets signed Simmons to a two-way deal Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Simmons has spent the 2022-23 season with Charlotte's G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm. However, with the G League season over, he could see some action for a Hornets team plagued by injuries.
