Parker won't play Saturday against the Nets due to rest purposes, Rick Bonnell of The Charlotte Observer reports.
The Hornets will give the veteran a night to rest in the second half of a back-to-back in order to ensure he stays fresh. Malik Monk should be in line for an uptick in minutes with Parker getting the night off.
