Gay scored 18 points (7-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT) in addition to five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 38 minutes during Monday's overtime loss to the WIzards.
Despite playing 38 minutes, Gay was unable to light up the stat sheet like teammate DeMarcus Cousins. He played a solid game but just didn't add enough scoring to help his team win, although his new love for the three-point line continued. In his last four games, Gay has taken 19 three-pointers after taking just nine attempts in his previous four contests. He's shooting 41 percent from downtown overall this season.
