Knicks' Lance Thomas: Headed to bench

Thomas will come off the bench Friday against San Antonio, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.

The Knicks initially named Thomas as the starter at power forward over Noah Vonleh, but they've made a last-minute change, bumping Thomas back to the bench. He's totaled just five total points in his previous two matchups as a reserve.
