Harris (shoulder) will be shut down for the remainder of the season, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

There was a growing belief that the Nets would shut Harris down, so this latest report doesn't come as much of a surprise. He hadn't played since Mar. 3 and the Nets have already been ruled out of playoff contention, so with six games left in the season, there was no reason to rush him back. Harris finishes the 2016-17 season playing in 52 games for the Nets, posting averages of 8.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.6 three-pointers across 21.9 minutes. He's got a non-guaranteed $1.5 million cap hit for next year, so it remains to be seen if Harris will be back with the Sixers.
