Whittington (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Atlanta.
Whittington was doubtful for Sunday's contest due to left knee soreness, so it's not very surprising to see him inactive against Atlanta. His next chance to return will be Tuesday against the 76ers, although his absence shouldn't have an impact on the Nuggets' rotation.
