Pistons' Luka Garza: Headed to G League

The Pistons assigned Garza (COVID-19 protocols) to the G League's Motor City Cruise on Monday.

Garza entered the NBA's health and safety protocols five days ago, but his assignment to the G League perhaps hints that he's been cleared to return to action. If that's the case, Garza could be available for the Cruise's game Monday against the Grand Rapids Gold. Since he's not a two-way player, Garza should rejoin the NBA team before long, but the rookie center won't be a regular part of head coach Dwane Casey's rotation.
