  • Gabriel supplied 18 points 6-10 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, four blocked shots and a steal across27 minutes during Thursday's 83-80 loss to the Clippers in the Las Vegas Summer League. Gabriel did a little bit of everything on Thursday, as he was easily the hottest shooter on the floor. Along with his four converted 3-point attempts, he also made a solid contribution on defense with four swatted balls and a steal. The former Kentucky product didn't perform well with the farm team in Stockton last season, and he's yet to step up to the next level, but this stat line is a step in the right direction.

  • Wenyen Gabriel: Joins four players out Sunday
    By RotoWire Staff

Gabriel (ankle) did not play in Sunday's win over the Swarm. Stockton wound up sitting four different players due to various injuries, resulting in three players - Tyrell Corbin, Matt Jones and Taren Sullivan - all receiving 40-plus minutes. Gabriel and fellow two-way player Troy Williams figure to available if desperately needed, but without more information regarding the respective injuries, it's unclear how much time either will miss.

Gabriel tallied 10 points (5-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 10 rebounds, a steal and a block over 22 minutes Friday against Oklahoma City. Gabriel once again showcased his rebounding prowess, snagging six offensive boards on the way to a 110-105 victory. The 6-9 forward has been a key contributor for Stockton off the bench this season, as he sits with a 9.8 ppg and 6.8 rpg average on the year (37 games).

  • Kings' Wenyen Gabriel: Underwhelming in G League
    By RotoWire Staff

Gabriel tallied 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, one steal and one block across 19 minutes Thursday in the G League Stockton Kings' 113-102 loss to the Agua Caliente Clippers. Though he's on a two-way deal with Sacramento, Gabriel has spent his entire rookie campaign with the G League affiliate. Over 24 games with Stockton, Gabriel is averaging 10.5 points (on 48.8 percent shooting from the field), 7.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.9 blocks in 21.9 minutes. That level of production probably isn't enough for Sacramento to justify giving him extended run in the NBA at any point in 2018-19.
