Suns' Josh Jackson: Traded to Grizzlies

Josh Jackson (foot) -- along with DeAnthony Melton and two second-round picks -- was traded to the Grizzlies on Wednesday in exchange for Kyle Korver and Jevon Carter, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The former fourth overall pick in 2017, Jackson hasn't lived up to expectations. So the Phoenix Suns have opted to send him to the Grizzlies, who seem to have an interest in developing Jackson. He's shown some upside as a defender, but the 22-year-old has struggled to score efficiently or demonstrate great passing vision. Jackson will likely occupy a backup role at shooting guard and small forward, and it's possible he still sees about 20 to 25 minutes per game.

Suns' Josh Jackson: May be traded over offseason

The Phoenix Suns will attempt to trade Josh Jackson during the offseason, Evan Sidery of Bright Side Sun reports.Jackson was arrested in Miami at a music festival over the weekend, so it would seem that this has a lot to do with Phoenix trying to ship him elsewhere. The Knicks and the Kings would reportedly be interested in acquiring Jackson, per Sidery. He averaged 11.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 79 contests a season ago, though it remains unknown if the forward will be handed any kind of discipline following the incident.

Suns' Josh Jackson: Thrives on first unit

Josh Jackson contributed 35 points (15-29 FG, 5-8 3Pt), nine rebounds, five assists and two steals across 46 minutes in the Phoenix Suns' 133-126 overtime win over the Pelicans on Friday.Jackson's point total led all scorers for the night as he turned in a masterful performance in the absence of Devin Booker (ankle). It's been an up-and-down season for the second-year pro, but Friday's spectacular effort served as his best of the campaign. Jackson is likely to remain in the starting five for the Suns' final two games, and with Booker already confirmed to be out for those contests, his usage could remain similarly high.

Suns' Josh Jackson: Remains productive off bench

Josh Jackson registered 12 points (5-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 34 minutes in the Phoenix Suns' 118-97 loss to the Jazz on Wednesday.Jackson's scoring total led the second unit in the double-digit loss. The second-year pro has scored in double digits in six of the last seven games and has logged at least 30 minutes in five of the last contests overall. His role should continue similarly robust for what remains of the regular season, and with Devin Booker (ankle) now set to miss the last three contests, Jackson's usage should see an appreciable bump.

Suns' Josh Jackson: Stuffs stat sheet in win

Josh Jackson contributed 19 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, five blocks and one steal across 34 minutes in the Phoenix Suns' 122-113 win over the Cavaliers on Monday.Jackson co-led the second unit in scoring and paced it in rebounds in his best performance since returning from a three-game absence due to an ankle injury. The second-year forward is back to his normal allotment of minutes, so he should offer plenty of value across all formats for what remains of the regular season.

Suns' Josh Jackson: Solid in return to action

Josh Jackson (ankle) finished with 10 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one assists and one block across 30 minutes in the Phoenix Suns' 120-115 loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday.Jackson was solid in his return to action after a three-game absence, with his scoring total leading the second unit. Given that the second-year pro was back to a normal allotment of minutes Saturday, he could find himself back in the starting five in short order with T.J. Warren (ankle) still sidelined.

    Suns' Josh Jackson: Available Saturday

Josh Jackson (ankle) will play in Saturday's game against the Grizzlies, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.Jackson has missed three consecutive games with a sprained ankle, but he will return Saturday. Given his relatively short time on the sidelines, he is unlikely to be on a minutes limit. Barring any setbacks, look for him to take on his usual depth role on the wing.
