Jones signed a one-year contract with the 49ers on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Jones heads to the Bay after spending some time with the Dolphins last preseason. He has appeared in 11 career games, most notably with the Lions, recording 11 receptions for 80 yards.
