Chicago designated Jones (neck) for return from its injured reserve list Wednesday.
Jones was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, a sign he could be ready to suit back up as soon as Sunday at the Chargers. He'll still probably need to practice in full Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend, though.
