Smith (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice for a second straight day Thursday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
The rookie defensive back/kick returner figures to be out there on Sunday against the Chargers, but Friday's practice report should provide final confirmation. Smith has logged all 136 of his snaps on special teams this season while amassing 169 yards on 10 kickoff runbacks.
