C.J. Moore: Waived with injury designation

Moore (lower leg) was waived/injured by the Lions on Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

Moore has been dealing with an undisclosed injury to his lower back and was in a walking boot during the final week of training camp. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, the 26-year-old will revert to injured reserve. Meanwhile, the Lions enter Week 1 relatively short-handed at safety given the continued absence of Ifeatu Melifonwu (undisclosed).
