Irving (back) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
The 26-year-old was carted off the field after suffering the neck injury during Sunday's win over the Seahawks and isn't expected to see the field again this season. The specifics of the injury remain unclear, but Irving should be considered out indefinitely.
