Ehinger (knee) was a full particpant at Wednesday's practice but has been downgraded to doubtful for Thursday's season opener at New England.
It's usually a little odd to see a player practice without any limitations and be handed a doubtful status, but this likely is due to the fact that the Chiefs had a light workload at Wednesday's practice. Based on all indications leading up to kickoff, Ehinger will probably sit this one out and wait to make a return to game action Week 2. There's a small chance things will change from now until Thursday's pregame warmups; stranger things have happened.
