Clayton Thorson: Cut from practice squad

The Giants cut Thorson from their practice squad Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

With Daniel Jones (neck) doubtful and Mike Glennon (concussion) questionable for Week 14, the Giants elected to sign Thorson to their practice squad to provide emergency depth at quarterback. However, with both of the aforementioned signal callers progressing well ahead of Week 15, Thorson finds himself as the odd man out. In a corresponding move, the Giants signed Woodrow Hamilton to their practice squad.
