Young (hip) is active for Sunday's season opener against the Falcons, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Young was labeled as questionable after not practicing Wednesday or Thursday and being limited Friday, so it's surprising to see him available. The second-year offensive lineman will likely serve as New Orleans' top swing tackle while Trevor Penning (toe) is on injured reserve.
