Hunt signed a contract with the Saints on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Hunt spent the last three years in Indianapolis, where he appeared in 47 games (25 starts). The 32-year-old now stands to bolster the interior of the Saints' defensive line, though he also has the versatility to play defensive end in a pinch.
