Stevie Brown: Signs with Chiefs

Brown's agent announced Friday that the 28-year-old safety has signed with the Chiefs, Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star reports.

Brown was most recently with the Giants last preseason before being among the team's final round of cuts before Week One. Both Brown and Jimmy Wilson both signed with the Chiefs on Friday, which adds depth to a secondary that just lost Husain Abdullah to retirement. The two safeties could find themselves battling for the same backup strong safety spot once training camp gets underway.
