Brown was released by the Chiefs on Wednesday.
Brown hasn't played since 2014, and he's never come close to his 2012 form, which saw him record eight interceptions, two forced fumbles, and 76 tackles, since tearing his ACL in 2013. He appeared in line for a role backing up Ron Parker and Eric Berry in Kansas City, but it looks like the team had other ideas. Look for Jamell Fleming to see an increased role in Brown's absence.
