Reader (concussion) has been cleared to return to action under the league's concussion protocol, The Houston Chronicle reports.

Reader dealt with what appeared to be concussion-like symptoms during the Texans' third preseason game against Arizona. The Clemson product seemed to have his wits about him and noted that he felt good amid the team's concern. With the injury looking like it's now in the past, Houston's fifth round pick is ready to serve alongside the likes of J.J. Watt and Vince Wilfork on one of the league's best defensive lines.
