Ives (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Bears on Friday, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.
Ives signed a reserve/future contract with Chicago in January, but he apparently suffered an injury early in camp. The nature of the issue isn't yet known, but the wide receiver will revert to injured reserve if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
