Pedan agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with the Canucks on Wednesday, per agent Dan Milstein.
Pedan spent the entire 2016-17 campaign in the minors with AHL Utica. While playing for the Comets, the defenseman tallied 10 points while racking up 100 PIM. Even if he does secure regular ice time with Vancouver next year, the 23-year-old is unlikely to suddenly start scoring with frequency, so he doesn't project to be a fantasy asset outside of leagues that count hits and PIM.
