Podkolzin was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Saturday.
Podkolzin hasn't played at the NHL level this season. He had just seven points in 39 outings last year and has 28 points in 44 contests with Abbotsford this season. He could fill a bottom-six role if he gets into the lineup.
