Podkolzin will be called up from AHL Abbotsford on Friday, per Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.
Podkolzin was sent to the minors earlier in the day, but it was just a paper transaction. He has no points, four shots and six hits in three games with the Canucks in 2023-24.
