Vesey (leg) was injured in the second period of Tuesday's game versus the Rangers, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
Vesey went in for a hit on Braden Schneider but missed the mark. The 28-year-old Vesey couldn't put any weight on his left leg as he left the ice, and he didn't return for the third period. With Jack Hughes (knee) out for the season and Yegor Sharangovich (undisclosed) also hurt Tuesday, the Devils may need to call up forwards from AHL Utica prior to Thursday's game versus the Canadiens.
