Bernier allowed six goals on 32 shots in Friday's 8-4 loss to the Jets.
According to NHL.com, this is the 13th time that Bernier has coughed up six goals or more in an NHL contest. Mackenzie Blackwood replaced Bernier against the Jets on Friday and also had rough go at it, with a pair of goals slipping past him on eight shots. The Devils are off until Monday's home clash with the Senators, which gives coach Lindy Ruff ample time to determine who will post up between the pipes in that one.
