Mete was put on waivers Monday with the intention of loaning him to AHL Lehigh Valley.
Mete chipped in two assists, seven shots on goal and nine blocked shots in 11 appearances with the Maple Leafs last season. He also suited up for six AHL contests with the Marlies in 2022-23.
