Pionk (illness) is on the ice for warmups and is expected to play Thursday versus the Devils, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Nate Schmidt and Logan Stanley are both absent for warmups, which clears the way for Pionk to play after having been previously ruled out earlier in the day. He's expected to skate on the second pairing against New Jersey.
