Benning (upper body) was removed from injured reserve Sunday.
Benning has missed the last six games but should be back in action Sunday against the Flyers. The 27-year-old has just 10 assists with a minus-15 rating through 53 games this season. Assuming he's in the lineup Sunday, he'll likely return to a bottom-four role.
