Bonino's (leg) debut for Nashville likely won't come until Opening Night against Boston at the earliest, according to general manager David Poile.

Bonino broke his leg blocking a shot in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The center opted not to have surgery after signing with the Predators in the offseason and is on track to be ready in time for the regular season. No longer stuck in a third-line role, the 29-year-old has a chance to crack the 40-point threshold for just the second time in his career -- if his health holds up.
