Kinkaid stopped 29 of 31 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Coyotes.
The Rangers didn't have a lead until 17:42 of the third period, but Kinkaid was solid in net to keep them within range for much of the contest. The 32-year-old isn't likely to be on the big club's roster for long, as Igor Shesterkin (lower body) is expected to be close to a return. Even if Shesterkin can't return before the holiday break, Kinkaid is unlikely to start again, as the Rangers have just two games left before the hiatus.
