Luff registered a goal and five hits in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Canadiens.
Luff is getting a top-level look since the Wings have several forwards dealing with injuries. He's generated two goals and an assist through 15 games for Detroit, but the minor-league numbers jump off the page, as he's cashed in on eight goals and 17 helpers through 28 contests with AHL Grand Rapids.
