White will headline the Senators' rookie camp and could be in line for a spot on the 23-man roster for Opening Night, per Ken Warren of the Ottawa Sun.

Rookie camp kicked off Wednesday, but White is already impressing. The 20-year-old made his NHL debut during last season's playoffs, suiting up twice during Ottawa's run. Selected by the Sens in the first round of the 2015 NHL Draft, White played two seasons for Boston College, where he racked up 35 goals and 41 helpers in 72 outings. Even if the Boston native doesn't secure an Opening Night roster spot, fantasy owners may want to consider taking a flier on the youngster -- especially in keeper/dynasty formats.
