Sokolov was recalled from AHL Belleville on Saturday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
The Senators also recalled Dillon Heatherington, Jacob Larsson, Nikolas Matinpalo, Tarun Fizer and Zack Ostapchuk. Ottawa will send all six down after Saturday's game versus Montreal, as a lot of regulars will not play in their final preseason game.
