Sokolov was reassigned to AHL Belleville on Thursday.
Sokolov picked up his first NHL assist in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Sabres. He had two points over five contests with the Senators this season. The winger could be a bottom-six option for the big club in 2023-24.
