Internet Leaders In Sports, Gaming Strike Deal Backed By
Half-Million Dollar Promotional Campaign
Ft. Lauderdale, FL, (June 30, 1997) -- CBS SportsLine (cbs.sportsline.com), a leading Internet-based sports media company and E-Pub, Inc. The site is being backed by a half-million dollar online promotional campaign.
CBS SportsLine Team Trivia, which launched today at cbs.sportsline.com and www.oasisgames.com, is a real-time, multi-player sports game that is free to play. In the game, players are tested on their knowledge of sports in fast-paced, head-to-head competition. Casual sports fans as well as avid trivia buffs will have the opportunity to compete for cash and prizes awarded on a 24-hour basis. In addition, CBS SportsLine Team Trivia players can participate in live "chats" with their teammates and competitors as they battle it out for the top spot.
