PGATOUR.COM Goes Island Hopping Again

For the sixth straight year, LIVE@17 shows all the island action

Fort Lauderdale, Fla., March 23, 2005 - Golf fans across the globe will once again be able to follow all the action from the world famous 17th hole during the first two rounds of THE PLAYERS Championship. For the sixth straight PLAYERS Championship, PGATOUR.COM will stream live and exclusive Internet video coverage on Thursday, March 24 and Friday, March 25 of every player as they take on the 17th hole at the Stadium Course at the Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass. The par 3 17th, the famed "island" hole at the TPC, showed its teeth in 2004 when a total of 29 balls found their way into the water surrounding the green.

There will be more than 20 hours of live action for users to track over the first two rounds, and fans can view it for free simply by registering at PGATOUR.COM. During the broadcast, users can interact with the hosts by sending e-mails and instant messages to them to answer on air. New features will include real-time stats from the course, closest to the pin updates and a video flyover. In addition to seeing every shot, viewers will hear a variety of guests talk about instruction, life on TOUR and the ongoing battle for No. 1 that has energized the game.

Starting in 2000 with THE PLAYERS Championship, the LIVE@ series has been a tremendous hit with golf fans and Internet users from around the world, attracting millions of viewers over the years.
