CBS Names Stephen Snyder Senior Vice President and General Manager, and Tom Arrix Senior Vice President, Sales and Client Services

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 13, 2005 - CBS, a leading Internet sports media organization and division of CBS Sports, today announced the promotion of two executives. The announcement was made by Sean McManus, President, CBS Sports.

Stephen Snyder, formerly the Executive Vice President of Product Development and Operations, has been appointed to the position of Senior Vice President, General Manager, CBS In his new role, Snyder will oversee programming, product development, marketing, technology and general administration of the company and its family of interactive media properties. He will report directly to McManus.

Tom Arrix, formerly the Vice President, General Sales Manager, has been appointed to the position of Senior Vice President, Sales & Client Services, CBS In his new role, Arrix will be responsible for all sponsorships and advertising on the company's flagship service,, as well as their partner sites:, and He will report directly to John Bogusz, Executive Vice President, Sports Sales & Marketing, CBS.

These two promotions complete the executive restructuring that occurred when Viacom Inc. finalized its acquisition of on December 10, 2004. At that time, it was announced the company would operate as a division of CBS Sports under McManus.

Snyder joined CBS in January 1998 when the company acquired GolfWeb, where he was Director of Site Development. Since that time, Snyder has served as an executive in various technology, programming and marketing positions at CBS Prior to joining the company, Snyder received an MBA from Stanford University and worked at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace Company as a missile systems engineering specialist.

Tom Arrix joined CBS in April of 1999 as Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining the company, Arrix worked at Turner Broadcasting, as Vice President of Turner Sports Sales and as a member of the Turner Entertainment Sales Group.
