NEW CBS SPORTS APP LETS FANS DOMINATE THEIR BRACKETS FROM ANYWHERE

CBSSports.com Features Complete Coverage of the 2013 NCAA® Division I Men's Basketball Championship

NEW YORK, NY, March 13, 2013 – CBSSports.com will deliver the complete bracket experience across web, tablet, and smartphone screens to give college basketball fans what they want: instant access to their brackets, insight from bracketology experts and the very latest in-game coverage.

At the heart of the experience is the completely redesigned CBS Sports mobile app, rated 4.5 stars by iOS and Android users, featuring access to all CBSSports.com bracket games, a live NCAA Tournament bracket, and expert picks, along with lightning-fast scores and stats, live play-by-play, and in-progress game tweets.

In addition, the new iPhone version will feature live streaming of games and events available on CBSSports.com, including the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament Semifinals and Championship on Saturday and Sunday, March 17-18.

Immediately following the conclusion of CBS Sports’ television coverage on Saturday and Sunday, CBSSports.com will present a Masters Live Weekend Recap Show. Hosted by Boone and Gogel, the Masters Live Weekend Recap Show will review all of Saturday’s and Sunday's action and be available live and on demand.

“CBSSports.com will give college hoops fans more of what they want for this year’s tournament: more projections, game coverage, video programming, social integration, and more ways to dominate their brackets across PCs, tablets and smartphones,” said Jason Kint, SVP and General Manager of CBSSports.com.

Regardless of screen, CBSSports.com will give college basketball fans access to multiple bracket games, including:

● Bracket Challenge, which lets fans fill out three brackets, share with friends, and compete against everyone.
● Bracket Manager, for creating, customizing, and managing bracket groups, and inviting friends, coworkers or family members.
● Round by Round, which lets fans pick each of the six rounds, eliminating “busted” brackets.

CBSSports.com’s expert advice and round-by-round historical data will make sure everyone from tournament fanatics to casual fans pick a winning bracket: bracketology expert Jerry Palm will offer his bracket predictions, and the Bracket Lab will feature a step-by-step guide through each region from bracket scientist Peter Tiernan. Additionally, all brackets will feature live results for every game so fans can see how their picks are performing immediately as games end.

As in years past, CBSSports.com will offer in-depth coverage of every game and the Eye on College Basketball team will provide exclusive insight and up-to-the-minute news and analysis. CBSSports.com will also feature a live show from 2-4pm ET on Monday, March 18 where a panel of experts will break down the brackets in preparation for the start of the tournament.

Fans can download the CBS Sports app at Google Play for Android devices or the App Store for iPhones, and access the CBS Sports mobile web site here: http://m.cbssports.com.
