Brandon Gomes hopes to start rehab during All-Star break

Rays reliever Brandon Gomes (lat) is expected to start another minor-league rehab assignment during the All-Star break, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Gomes suffered a setback in his recovery in late June and has been sidelined since May 7 with the injury. The Rays have not announced a concrete timetable for his return.
