CLEVELAND -- Tuesday night, the 112th edition of the World Series will begin at Progressive Field in Cleveland. Here's how you can watch Game 1.

Both the Cubs and Indians are looking to end long title droughts this series. The Cubbies haven't won a World Series since 1908. The Tribe last won in 1948. One of those two team is going to make their long-suffering fan base very happy this series.

The teams announced their starting lineups for Game 1 early Tuesday afternoon. Let's start with the visiting Chicago Cubs:

  1. CF Dexter Fowler
  2. 3B Kris Bryant
  3. 1B Anthony Rizzo
  4. LF Ben Zobrist
  5. DH Kyle Schwarber
  6. 2B Javier Baez
  7. RF Chris Coghlan
  8. SS Addison Russell
  9. C David Ross
    LHP Jon Lester

The big news here is Schwarber's return. He hasn't played in a major league game since April 7 due to a torn ACL. He rehabbed all summer and the Cubs had him get some at-bats in the Arizona Fall League over the weekend, and apparently they were pleased with what they saw, so they activated him.

Also, the Cubs are sitting regular right fielder Jason Heyward against a right-handed pitcher. Coghlan is in the lineup instead. Heyward's first season in Chicago was pretty much a disaster, and the postseason hasn't been any better. His right field defense remains elite, but there's a minimum acceptable standard on offense, and he hasn't met it.

Now here is the lineup the home Cleveland Indians will use in Game 1:

  1. CF Rajai Davis
  2. 2B Jason Kipnis
  3. SS Francisco Lindor
  4. 1B Mike Napoli
  5. DH Carlos Santana
  6. 3B Jose Ramirez
  7. LF Brandon Guyer
  8. RF Lonnie Chisenhall
  9. C Roberto Perez
    RHP Corey Kluber

Kipnis is indeed in the Game 1 lineup after spraining his ankle during the team's ALCS celebration. It looked pretty nasty, but he's in the lineup. Otherwise that is Cleveland's standard lineup against left-handed pitchers.
