Tigers OF Rajai Davis draws sixth consecutive start

Tigers outfielder Rajai Davis will bat leadoff and make his sixth consecutive start in the outfield Sunday against the Twins.

Davis has been jockeying for playing time with Tyler Collins for much of the second half, but seems to have the upper hand on the timeshare in light of his recent performance.

During his previous five starts, Davis has accrued nine hits (including two triples and a homer), while scoring four runs and driving in three. He looks like a solid daily league option Sunday in his matchup with occasionally volatile Ervin Santana, who toes the rubber for the Twins.
