For the past 13 weeks, free agent safety Shiloh Keo sat at home waiting for an NFL team to call him, when he clearly realized something: No one's calling because no one uses the phone any more because they're all on Twitter.

So Keo took his job search to Twitter.

On Dec. 1, the 27-year-old sent a tweet to Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips.

The Broncos were in the market for a safety at the time, but instead of signing Keo, the team went with Josh Bush.

Although the Broncos didn't sign Keo, Phillips did let Keo know that he thinks very highly of him.

Keo then made sure to point out that he was familiar with the Broncos defense since he ran a similar version in Houston, where Phillips used to coach. Keo played three years (2011-13) under Phillips while with the Texans.

Phillips clearly didn't forget about Keo's tweets because the Broncos added the free agent on Wednesday. The Broncos were in desperate need of safety help after losing T.J. Ward (ankle), David Bruton Jr. (knee) and Omar Bolden (hamstring) to injuries against the Chargers.

The moral of the story here is that Twitter is the best way to find a job.
