They say everything's done bigger in Texas and apparently, that includes cheerleading tryouts.
The Texans held cheerleading tryouts over the weekend and as you can see in the picture at the top of the page, pretty much half the female population in the city of Houston showed up. Well, it wasn't quite that many, but it was a lot.
According to KHOU.com, over 1,000 hopefuls showed up to tryout for a spot on the Texans 2015 cheerleading squad.
Getting on the squad isn't easy. On Saturday, a panel of judges trimmed the field down from 1,000 to 200. After that first cut, the final 200 girls were eventually narrowed down to 50 finalists.

Out of the 50 finalists, 35 will go on to be Texans cheerleaders in 2015.
