Week 8 of the NFL season ends Monday night at Arrowhead Stadium with the Kansas City Chiefs (5-2) hosting the Denver Broncos (3-3) in an AFC West clash.

The line is Kansas City -7, meaning Vegas expects the Chiefs to win by seven. That line has held steady since it opened.

The Over-Under, or total number of points Vegas thinks will be scored, stands at 42.5. That's down from the opening number of 44.5.

In a "Monday Night Football" game like this where there is plenty of uncertainty, you need to hear what Nick Kostos, a.k.a. "Mr. Monday Night," has to say.

Kostos is known for his bold NFL predictions, but "Monday Night Football" is where he's made his name. He's 17-13 on Monday Night Football picks against the spread since SportsLine launched and just locked in his pick for tonight's game. And he's found a matchup that will ultimately determine which side of the spread you need to be on.

Led by quarterback Alex Smith and a trio of big-time playmakers -- RB Kareem Hunt, WR Tyreek Hill and TE Travis Kelce -- the Chiefs boast the league's second-best offense with an average of 392.4 yards per game. They're in a position to win comfortably against a Broncos team coming off humiliating double-digit losses to the Chargers (21-0) and Giants (23-10) in their last two games.

But the Chiefs have had some struggles of their own after dropping their last two following a 5-0 start. Denver's defense remains elite, giving up just 258.5 yards per game. The Broncos will look to use that to limit Kansas City's offense and will try to get their own offense jump-started against the third-worst defense in the league.

Also boding well for Denver: the road team has covered six of the last seven in this series. And Denver running back Jamaal Charles, who has been held under 10 touches for five straight games, could be in for a bigger workload in a "revenge game" against the team that cut him.

Kostos has studied these two teams, evaluated all the circumstances, and knows the line is way off on this one. He's confidently locked in his bold pick, which Vegas legend Kenny White agrees with, and he's sharing his selection over at SportsLine.
