Before he was a linebacker, Terrell Suggs could rumble through defenses at will. (Twitter)

For most of us NFL watchers, the name Terrell Suggs will forever be synonymous with pass-rushing. In his 12 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, Suggs has amassed 106.5 sacks, the 24th-highest total of all time. And in 17 postseason games, he's added another 12.5 more.

Even at 32 years old for most of last season, Suggs recorded the fourth-most pressures among 3-4 outside linebackers, per Pro Football Focus' tracking, while he checked in third at the position in sacks, sixth in hits and eighth in hurries.

But before he was a Pro Bowl and All-Pro caliber sackmaster, Suggs was also a high school running back. And from the looks of this highlight, a pretty good one:

Maybe after seeing that video, Suggs' former teammate Ray Lewis will finally believe Suggs that he was once a runner.

He probably should. After, all according to his Wikipedia page, Suggs set the Arizona Class 5A record for rushing yards in a game with 367 back in 1999. That sounds pretty impressive to me.
